The Geochemistry Group is looking to appoint one new co-opted member to join our committee. The deadline is 04.10.2022. Applications will be evaluated in mid-October for a late-October start.
The role of the committee members is to support the Geochemistry Group’s usual activities (awarding student travel bursaries/awards , organizing our annual research in progress meeting, organizing career events). In addition, we hope that these new appointments will help improve representation of minorities on the Geochemistry Group steering committee as well as assist in devising and implementing strategies that address the lack of diversity within the wider UK geochemistry community. The appointments are made for 3 years.
