The Geochemistry Group offers a number of opportunities for funding, primarily for Ph.D student and early career researchers (ECRs). Meeting Attendance Bursaries for PhD researchers
We realise that in the early stages of your research career funds can be tight, particularly with conference fees and accommodation . Funding for two types of expenses can be applied for through this bursary: (i) offsetting the cost of travel to conferences being attended in person; (ii) contributions towards the costs of registration for online conferences. Your research must fall within the remit of the Geochemistry Group and you must have attended a previous Geochemistry Group Research in Progress (GGRiP) meeting (virtually or in-person). Preference will be given to: members of the Mineralogical Society and/or Geological Society; Ph.D students with demonstrably limited resources nearing the end of their research; and researchers on limited institutional funding.
